You know when a DJ is talking about their upcoming mix and says they want to “take you on a Journey” well, they got that from Michael Mayer and his Immer mixes. I’m not talking a journey through as many genres in 45 minutes as humanly possible. More; Up, down, in and around the emotional scale (well as much as a ‘listen at home’ dance mix can).  Mayer’s first mix; Immer 1 is widely regarded as the quintessential techno/house mix and one of the greatest ever, of anything. So it is with great excitement that I announce the 3rd mix in the series; Immer 3 (duh). As per usual the tracklisting isn’t restricted to releases of this year, each song is picked to enhance the mix as a whole.  It’s a sum of it’s parts thing. Kompakt will release it 10th of June 2010 (I know! still a month and a half off!).
