Check out this featurette for upcoming action/spy flick starring Angelina Jolie, who should be best known for her role in Hackers, but is probably remembered for other roles. Incidentally, in Hackers her hair was the raven black that she’s sporting again for Salt.

Now based in Beijing, accomplished photographer Jasper James manages to squeeze in some beautiful shoots for his people and places series, amongst some big name client work. I love this series of photos of silhouettes by skyscraper windows. It reminds me of a close friend’s artwork titled ‘together alone’, depicting the solitude we can feel in such overcrowded, non-communicative societies.

Cartoons rejected by the New Yorker

A colleague of mine always reads the latest copy of the New Yorker whenever we fly and through this i’ve come to enjoy their articles and their incisive, sardonic cartoons. Apparently, these are the rejects, the ones that never made it (but should have!) Rejected New Yorker Cartoons. If these are legit, then they’re are the real life example of Don Hertzfeldt’s REJECTED – a work of pure genius.
