iWood if I could

iwood

Having only recently jumped on to the iPhone bandwagon, I’m still  in that early infatuation where everything seems new and magical. But how will I keep my chrome-gadgeted love strong and pure? The answer is to spice things up a bit with some role playing. My iPhone is currently wooing me by pretending it’s a tree thanks to my iWood cover from Miniot.

Seriously though, this cover is a beautiful thing for any dapper gent. Carved down to the micron out of a single piece of wood, the case itself has been well thought out. You can still plug in headphones, chargers and the speaker ports aren’t hindered in the slightest. You could perhaps argue that the timbre of the timber only adds to the sounds. I’m not going to though, because I’m far too busy marveling at the buttons that are carved so that when you increase the volume or turn your iPhone off – you’re still touching the wood of the case.

iWood cases come in oak, padouk, cherry, walnut and rich mahogany. It’s a beautiful object, the kind you want to pick up purely to run your hands over it.
